Our Daily Program:

Each and every day our teachers will provide activities based on the social, cognitive, spiritual, emotional and physical needs of the children in the program.

Our daily program consists of activities that are designed to meet the Early Learning Content Standards that are recommended by the Department of Education.  In an environment where Christian values are taught.

The focus of our Three Year Old Program is to embrace the socialization of our three year olds, while introducing some basic skills.

The focus for the Four Year Old Program is to use the State guidelines as a baseline, and strive to have each student ready to go to kindergarten and be successful.

The goals for each program are as follows:

*To encourage self-confidence and self actualization

*To increase the child’s social compatibility via awareness of others (respect)

* To create a safe, educational experience to enhance what parents have already begun

Communication is critical

Therefore, we will always provide two qualified staff members in the classroom plus one aide.  The Three Year Old class is limited to 16 children, and the Four Year Old class is limited to 20 children per class.  You are always welcome in the classroom.  It is not necessary to make arrangements ahead of time.  We encourage parents to volunteer throughout the year as often as possible. We are available on a daily basis to address any questions or concerns you may have.

Rhonda Britton - Teacher/Administrator

Bio:   I was born in Mt. Gilead, Ohio and grew up in central Ohio.  After graduating from Delaware Hayes High School, I moved to Cuyahoga Falls for two years and then returned to Prospect thirty-three years ago.  I came to know Jesus Christ as my personal Savior in September of 1976.   I met my amazing husband shortly after moving here and we have been married thirty years.   We have one son, a daughter-in-law and three terrific grandchildren.   I received my degree in Early Childhood Development in 1993 and have been teaching for 20 years.  The last 13 years have been here at the Prospect Christian Preschool.

Purpose:  My purpose is to prepare children for Kindergarten in a loving Christian environment.  I try to do this by incorporating biblical truth that will remain with them for life.

My favorite verses of scripture:  Proverbs 30:7-9
“Two things I ask of You, LORD; do not refuse me before I die: keep falsehood and lies far from me; give me neither poverty nor riches, but give me only my daily bread.  Otherwise, I may have too much and disown You and say, ‘Who is the LORD?’  Or I may become poor and steal, and so dishonor the name of my God.”

Lori Wasserbeck - Asst. Teacher & Business Manager

Bio: My name is Lori Wasserbeck.  I graduated from Mohawk High School in 1994 and from Terra Community College with an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education in 1996. I have been happily married to Carson Wasserbeck for 18 years.  God has blessed us with three wonderful boys, Levi, Caleb, and Isaiah. We attend Celebration Christian Church and are involved in a variety of ministries there. I have been teaching at Prospect Christian Preschool for three years. I love teaching children and sharing God's love with them.

Purpose: My purpose is to be a servant for the Lord; to go when He says go
and to serve as He leads in my life. My desire is to serve the parents, staff, board, and children of the Prospect Christian Preschool. I will serve in His love and with the excitement He has given me to influence the lives of children for Christ.

My life verse: Isaiah 6:8 “Then I heard the voice of the LORD saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?”  And I said, “Here I am, send me.”
